1984 Broom 32 fitted with a Single Perkins 4108 Diesel Engine
With a very recent new canopy, this well maintained Broom has just had a new coat of anti-foul and engine service. The boat is laid up ashore and available for viewing.
Forward Cabin:
This well planned cabin has full headroom with a generous size berth
each side or provision to make one double berth. The cabin is
tastefully equipped with two wardrobes, shelves and drawers. For
ventilation and emergency use there is a hatch to the deck.
Forward Toilet:
A well planned compartment completely lined out for easy cleaning
Complete with washbasin, mirror, hooks etc. A sea toilet is provided and
also a shower.
Galley:
The galley is unusually specious for a boat of this size with plenty of
locker and storage space and the equipment includes a gas water heater,
cooker with oven and grill, refrigerator and double bowl stainless steel
sink unit.
Deck Saloon:
The large deck saloon is the central feature of the Broom 32. There is
a comfortable settee berth each side and the starboard one can convert
to a double berth. In addition to the helmsman seat and controls there
is plenty of locker and storage space. An unusual and attractive
feature of the deck saloon is the hatch in the roof. This opens both
forward and aft to maximize the air flow in warm weather as well as
making the whole area light and attractive.
Aft Cabin:
The aft cabin is self contained with a large double berth, wardrobe,
dressing table and en suite toilet and shower compartment.
Deck Layout:
The Broom 32 design provides for wide decks right round the boat and a
moulded into the side decks. Stout material stainless non
steel-guard rails are provided .The aft deck has seating for
the helmsman and passengers as well as a sunbathing area which is well
protected by the windscreen.
